This is a question regarding how you set your layouts and pits in a field setup.
Some guys I hunt with set them in the spread using the fullbodies as added consealment. Some guys set them 10-15 yards outside of there spread. Their theory is that the geese are more focused on what is going on it the middle of the spread that they dont look at the perimeter of the spread therefore they see your blind. What's your strategy? I've killed geese using both methods but one has to be better than the other?? |

In most of the time. I have set up down wind of my spread 50 yds or so late in the season when the birds were shy and landing short.
