I use the least amount of deks that will get the birds attention, which most of the time is no more than two dozen. Mix in a few Cans or deks with white for visibility. Always take a jerk cord. Easiest and lightest way to add motion.

I've carried as much as two decoys bags worth of floaters but lately I'm going lighter. 8 ducks was enough for my six the other day although I wish I would have brought a couple geese.
