It's official! As of today, MarshMonster has a retail store open in Parkersburg, right on the East end of they Hwy 57 curve. You can't miss us because there's a MarshMonster rig parked right next to the highway.

If there's anybody who doesn't know already, there's a very passionate community of waterfowl enthusiasts in Northeast, and quite frankly, all of Iowa. The problem is that although rabid, we are still a small segment of the retail market. Most big box stores ignore us completely, or carry a very limited selection of products. Most times going straight for low-cost / high-margin products that will be sold in a short 1-month timespan. For those of us who do not live near any of the major sporting goods suppliers, it requires a full-day adventure to go and see available products first hand. Although the internet has made it so almost all products can be viewed from anywhere, there is still an aspect of a buying decsion that needs an in-person or hands-on experience.

So it is with this and MarshMonster's mission of providing unsurpassed quality, customer service, and value, that we are expanding our efforts into providing additional waterfowl products. Our store is open and our inventory is growing. We will sell only high-quality products, but at extremely competitive prices. In addition to new products we will also provide customers the opportunity to sell their good-condition used equipment and hunting apparel on a consignment basis. We know that the cost of our sport continues to soar, and it's nearly impossible for newbies to accumulate all the equipment without taking out a second mortgage.

So to begin with, Marsh Monster will be offering products from these fine manufacaturers.

Select Shot Gun Shells - We are right next to Big Marsh, nothing worse than forgetting the ammo.

We will be adding additional products on a select basis and would love to hear your recommendations.

Our store hours are 8 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday, and 8 am to noon on Saturdays during the season. This may seem limited, but we are actually available anytime 7 days a week. We live minutes from the shop and if you stop by and we're not there, just call us and we'll be there in minutes. Watch for changes to our website as we begin to advertise the outfitting arm of MarshMonster.
