I've tried it, but haven't patterned it. I shot a goose that landed off to the side of the decoys about 25 yards out. When I got it home there were 2 pellets that went through one side and were trapped in the skin on the other side. One of them went through the keel bone. I just got 4 boxes of my shell of choice today though, Winchester Supreme Hi- Velocity #2's, so they probably gonna set for awhile.

havent shot them, done like the concept.. im sure they work but what flies straighter for longer? a round ball or an object with a bunch of flat spots? cant imagine much consistancy with patterns past 20 yds... "fliers" or "strays" should be more common in theory..which isnt a good thing...

put it this way... if you had one throw to hit your target, would you rather throw a base ball or a block? after playin years of ball, id bet on the baseball

not saying they dont work, i just dont like the concept...

Hell open an Expert up sometime. There isnt a round bb in the whole shell. I believe I've found a couple that look exactly like those blind sides

I bought a box and havent killed a goose yet i've only shot them 5 times, the only reason I bought them was because the shells I usually get (hypersonics) were out and I figured i'd try somthing new.

haven't shot it but there is a ballistics article in wildfowl a few months back. His results weren't the best, percentage wise IMHO. I'll stick with the black cloud 3" 3's through a mod choke in my sx3. have had great luck with that combo.

Show me a shell that actually does have round balls. I make my own shot for shooting trap and I prefer that the shot is irregular, it patterns way better than factory shot.
