I recently saw a video about SpectraShot; although the emphasis appeared to be on determining who shot which bird and finding pellets in the body, I was more interested in the implication that the colored shot enables you to determine where you are shooting - in front of/behind/over/under the target.
I was wondering if anyone has personal experience with this product and if so, can it really help you determine where you are shooting? It also appears that the only place it is currently available in is in Louisianna. Appreciate any feedback members can provide. IssaquahBob |

I don't think Spectra works as a tracer round. With any other round you may have to depend on the flight of the wad, or if you do make contact with a duck, see where the majority of the pellets make contact.
Welcome to the site.
