There is no wrong way to eat a cookie. This is an example of the spread that mallard26 was talking about. I personally have had better luck with the spread I spoke of, but to each their own. I like mine better because if the ducks land with the geese they wind up right on top of you making for easy shots....

Anyone can hunt mallards, but you have to be born a diver hunter. You have to really, really love to hunt ducks to deal with frozen outboards, rough water, and the hard work it takes to hunt divers.

both of those are good. this is a crappy pic but similar to how ill set.. minus the cross wind with this set, and geese would be slightly off to the right side of the duck, depending on how birds ahve been reacting.

also i might add much bigger scale than what this pic shows and spread out more left to right not so far out in front but to the sides...
