Default Mojo Charging?

I am brand new to the Mojo thing. Tried charging the battery over night but it won't spin this morning. Yesterday I charged it with the stand alone charging setup and it didn't work so last night I tried with the decoy charging unit and it didn't work. Did I get a bad battery right out of the box? Maybe I am doing something wrong. What steps are there to charging it? It will spin with the charger plugged in.

I always take my battery out of the mojo to charge it, are you runing a remote with it? I know if I leave the switch on but have the mojo turned off by the remote it will kill the battery.

No remote, brand new straight out of the box. I was reading the directions and the unhook and hook up thing seems weird.

Its just 2 wires that you disconnect for the battery. I would let it charge a full 24 hours and then try it. I cant remember what mojo recommends for a charging time on new setups.

Is it a true MOJO, if so check the wires to the motor and to the switch, I bought one a couple of years ago and found that the wires were loose. I also had one that had a bad switch right out of the box, so I changed the switches out.

I bought a Baby Mojo this year with the same problem. I charged overnight and nothing. I took the battery out and hooked up the charger directly to the Mojo (via the alligator clips) and the thing spun. So bad battery.

It'll take customer service weeks to get a new one to you so I'd return the whole thing if I was you. When I called and asked how long it would take to get a new one the lady on the phone from Mojo told me "it takes as long as it takes".

You should be able to pick a battery at any battery shop (cheaper route).
Or you should be able to buy one where you bought the mojos.

Gander Mtn should have them available. When I say "should" I mean you should call them first before you make the trip. If not Scheels in Coralville will Defiantly have them.

I don't know where you bought it from but I would send it back. That is why I purchase most of my gear from Cabela's. No questions asked refunds or returns.

Got it from Cabelas. Right now I dont have time to go to Prairre and switch it out, a $20 battery would be easier and cheaper. I need to scout.

X2, last weekend they had a ton of them on the shelf. I remember my directions said to charge it for however long your going to use it for, going to use it for 8hrs then charge it for 8hrs. I don't remember how long to initially charge it for though.

Ijust pick a baby mojo up at fin&feather in IC the directions say charge batt. until it reaches 7.00 volts that is if you have a volt meter OR charge batt.35min. for each hour of use. if your decoy is new charge over night. ALWAYS recharge after every use 35min.for each hour of use. NEVER charge over 24 hours at a time. there you go right from the hourses mouth anyway thats what the paper said. it tells you about useing the poles that come with it. only 49.95 for baby mojo
