I was wondering if anyone hunts Chichaqua. I know it is a pretty big place and was hoping someone could give me some helpful tips on the area, I am not expecting exact locations, but I know some spots are reserved and some are open to first come first serve. Also is this mainly walk in or is there alot of room for boats. I plan on scouting it soon but a little heads up would be nice. Thanks in advance guys.

read the regs on chichaqua, its a little screwy. in fact im not sure if there is any place to get a boat out there on a normal year and this year the water out there is way low. there is a special area that has paid blinds for most of the season, but there are places you can hunt outside of the blinds. i haven't been past there much lately but it looked pretty sad earlier in the year

At any levels there is no access with boats its usually has quite a bit of water but this year it is all dry. The only place with water I think is the draws. There is also no water in the refuges there for no birds. If I were you I wouldn't waste the gas considering there's no place to hunt and what water the draw units have gets hunting since its the only around
