Brother waterfowlers,
I'm from Michigan (I'm on the Mi waterfowl forum) and I'm looking for some waterfowling info from your state. I've been Adair bird hunting years ago and that was a blast but lately ducks & geese are my favorite. I hunted Saska a few weeks ago but that's a long way to drive. I'm heading your way again (Oakland) Jan. 1st to take a poke at some deer but while I'm there I want to learn more about the duck/goose hunting you've got to offer. So I'll peek in on this sight once in a while to try to pick up some tips. Looking forward to chatting with fellow hunters from another area of the country.

We're actually staying near there but hunting near Griswold. My buddies have been hunting there for years. Somebody they've gotten to know pretty well has thousands of acres to roam around on. I don't get too excited about deer hunting, I do it every day here but they say there's bigg'ns there so I told'm I'd give it a try once. I'm more interested in getting info from these people to see if there's any good goose hunting in the area.

That time of year if you go out by Atlantic you can find Canadas.

Thanks for the welcomes fellas. Had my last hunt of the season this wekend. Couldn't get permission to hunt the corn fields when I found birds so it was back to my lake. As usual south winds dominated so no flight birds showed up. Sunny yesteday and rainy today, got a couple of mallards and common & hooded mergs, including a nice mounter (already got one). My overall year was a little down (too many south wind days) but really there are no 'bad' days of hunting. I'm hoping to get some snow geese connections for next season and I'm still looking to shoot my first Speck.
