Welcome aboard.

A day when the action is hot and you limit out is a sure way to get hooked but, as others have stated, limits aren't everything and are kind of a rarity in this state. I hunt quite a bit and probably scout 12 hours or more per week but I've only limited a few times this year. I know nothing about redrock but I'm sure there's at least a handful of ducks there to give you an oppurtunity. You may want to expand your options though. Generally, the closer you are to major population centers the greater the hunting pressure. Fewer ducks can mean fewer hunters and more oppurtunities to learn. Also, weekends will be the heaviest pressure so hunt during the week if possible.

Finally, beware- it doesn't take long for a hobby to become an addiction!

Welcome. As to limits, GOOD LUCK its not what Ducking is about. Time with good friends, good food, conversation, wet dogs, boats, Rubber duckies and shared knowledge.

Some days you school them, some days your the student.

Most important is when to play your cards close to your vest. Loose lips fill parking lots.

Oh and be prepared to spend some cash. Duck Hunting is the second most expensive sport in North America next to Elk Hunting.
