Default Chisel plowed fields

Who has ideas for hiding in the black deserts we get when we have dry fields and bored farmers!! We have fields by us that look just like black carpet, geese love them but how does a guy hide in them? Anyone ever try using cedars in the middle of the field?

Someone posted this link not too long ago, but here is a way...

I am working on making a few blinds like this now. You need ALOT of paint to do this. It's a pain in the butt to paint the netting.

Did a hole and put your blind in it. That's one way I recently figured out with my power hunter I can take my hood off and lay it flat.

If you are allowed to dig a hole. You dig a hole in some peoples fields you will be paying them back for the anhydrous you just took out of the ground!!! At 900 bucks plus a ton people don't take digging holes lightly in their field!

The ground isnt frozen yet, here anyway, just take a garden rake and level out a flat spot. If you want to go the extra mile, mud your blind with black dirt and dont brush it off...u'll blend in nice Huff

I have one blind set up for just this. I painted it flat black and went to Wal Mart and bought plain black felt. Keep the piece square so you can pin down each corner and then wet it down and throw dirt all over it.

Maybe some where. I just went from my laptop to a netbook and I downloaded all my pictures to a couple of thumb drives.

It is literally just a square piece of black felt over my blind. I did cut a slit in the middle to accomodate the doors

That's awesome! The only time we hunt chisel plowed fields is if it has a waterway or something in it. I guess it doesn't matter now with this!

Very nice. Adding project to the list of things to do. Anyone think dipping the netting in paint would be easier?
