I didn't use a 2X4 and he has never tried to bite me since.

Anyone can hunt mallards, but you have to be born a diver hunter. You have to really, really love to hunt ducks to deal with frozen outboards, rough water, and the hard work it takes to hunt divers.

Until he tried it in the car and I suggested that he back off, and he did. he quickly learned that "thumbs" are what separate humans from the animal world.

All I know is that he now listens to me almost as well as he listens to you. Now get him to grow some fur, and you would have a kick ass duck dog. He looks so cute in his youth underarmour shirt though.
