A buddy and I went out with a pair of Lynch Mob calls yesterday for the first time and managed to fool one flock into coming close enough for a shot. We had the Law Maker and the X Factor and for a couple of novice callers we thought they were very easy to blow.

Anyway, the story...

We had the first flock out set their wings about 150 yds out but they drifted off to the east of us. It looked like they were going to set in about 75 yds east but my buddy hit them with some aggressive calling (by our standards) and they picked up to give us a closer look. We had the blinds set outside the spread on the back side of the knob (thanks to a lot of advice from this site). They came in right over the spread and we managed to knock one down as they flared out.

We were pumped to get the one considering how these birds have been acting lately. Very spooky and late to arrive.

Right on dudes. LMC's are great calls. I won't use another brand ever again.

hey...that doesn't happen to be my old law maker? cant remember if you are who i sold it to. if so, thats good to hear that it still works!

This wasn't your old Law Maker, but I'm sure it still works too! If someone would teach me how to shoot a goose, we could have dropped a couple more...

guess i got excited to finally have one close enough to shoot within legal shooting hours
