Default i-KAM XTREME Video EyeWear Camera

Anyone have a pair and how do you like them? I heard issues with battery life. Thinking about getting a pair for Turkey hunting.

I will sell you my pair. I cannot get them to work on my computer. Every program I have including the download from their site will not play them without freezing. Tell ya what, I will ship them to you for turkey hunting, if they work and you like them, either buy them from me, or ship them back and tell me how you got them to work. Deal? They record just fine, I just cannot play the files on my computer.

How about I help you try and get them working for you 1st, then I might take you up on your offer if I cant get it to work for you.

Can you email me one of the files, small one but one that freezes for you.
Have you tired to play them on another CPU????

well, I would send you the files if I could get them off the computer. You won't be out anything if I send them to ya. I have talked to several other people that own the same pair, and they have also had trouble, but can get them to play on Window media player. Mine won't. I have never taken an actual hunting video with them becuase they have never worked right. I tried to video a couple of minutes of basically nothing, then transfer them to my computer, and couldn't get that done. Right now they are basically worthless to me.

I am willing to let you give it a whirl to see if you like them. You can send them back anytime you want. hell, I will send a check with the return postage if you want. I just want to see if they work. You could borrow them through Turkey season to see if they are what you want.

Right now, I am leaning towards a camera I can mount on my barrel, as this gives the most direct line of site. The I-Kam's give you a crooked look down the barrel.

The only reason I want them is to video how I shoot ducks. I really think I shoot the best when I shoot on instict, and I want to see what that lead is.

Battery life is just like anything else. The colder it is the less life you have.

I wish there was a way to turn the lens a little. when you shoulder the gun the lens doesn't align down the barrel. All we seem to get is empty shells flying through the air, no kill shots.

I was surprised with the quality of the video that little camera puts out. That said it is not durable at all! Lasted about 3 hunts and from what I read on the internet just about everyone has the same issue.

The quality is good for the practacality of them being sunglasses and at a reasonable price. However, like the others said, the camera is set about 20 degrees off of the gun barrell towards your trigger hand, so without thinking about it and making previous adjustments, you will be filming a lot of dirt
