Couldn't believe it when I saw the previews for it. Seriously they aren't makin enough money frome their calls their endorsements and DVD sales and all the other ventures they lower themselves to this. I always thought Phil was a little against all this bull that Willie likes but it looks as though the whole bunch is greedy and money hungry. This show will just make them look like a bunch of dumb ass hillbillies more then what their other show does. I've really lost some respect for the Robertsons for this.

Ask anyone in Louisiana and they'll tell you that the bayou state's favorite first family doesn't live in the governor's mansion but in the backwoods, where the Robertsons' rags-to-riches story is still unfolding. A homegrown mom-and-pop operation, Duck Commander has become a sporting empire by fabricating top-of-the-line duck calls and decoys out of salvaged swamp wood.

This newly minted multimillionaire family is kept in line by business-savvy Willie, who runs Duck Commander with the help of his brother Jase, their respective wives Korie and Missy, patriarch and founder of the company, Phil, and uncle Si. Together they run a booming business that employs half their neighborhood, but at the end of the day, you can find the whole family around matriarch Miss Kay's dinner table.
Each episode brings a new set of challenges, met with a special brand of Southern know-how and a down-home sense of humor. In the premiere episode Willie, CEO of Duck Commander, catches his crew constructing a testing facility to experiment with new duck calls at the warehouse. Only problem is, their makeshift pond is a flooded loading dock filled with ducks.

Phil has nothing to do with the money end these days. Lets see, if you were in their shoes and were given an opportunity to make more money, would you?? Damn right you would. Lets face it. These guys are not filthy rich like you think they might be. Sure they sell a bunch of calls, vids and other merchandise. By the time you pay overhead, advertising, employee wages and what ever else may be involved, it might not be as great as one may think. When they say multimillion dollar family, its the whole family combined. A million bucks is not the much these days. Split that among the whole family and its not as good as one may think. I give a big hats off to anyone that can make a living at a hobby that you love. They are making a living at what they love to do. Don't we all wish we could???

Well Beakmaster the hobby part ended and started at hunting and call making. Last I checked making reality shows isn't a hobby but I could be wrong. By the way have you seen the way they live down on the farm? I think a million dollars would do Phil just fine. Willie and Jase might be a different story as they are both married to "todays" type of women but I have seen their respective homes and they aren't hurtin. All I was sayin is a reallity show about these guys though possibly entertaining is only going to make them look stupid.

It looks like it will be one of the shittiest shows on tv with more poor acting and staged events than reality.

Having said that, I would let tv portray me as sheep humping homo if they wrote me a million dollar check.
