Suppose to cool down some for this weekend for Mound City and SW Ia.
I am taking a short 35 kids to Squaw Friday I will be with the biologist.
Numbers have be staying the same this past week.
I will report what I see Friday evening, my hunt will be the week of 3-11 we went by the ave. the past several years of when the juries have been coming in.
Folks are going to have to spend time scouting, many normal crop fields were washed out this past summer. In fact many roads are still in need of repair.
we as tax payers have no idea what this past summers flooding is really going to cost.
Farm ground has to be rejuvenated to get life back into it!
Be safe and good hunting.

What are the tall kids going to do? Or where you referring to the bus you will be taking?

Oscar I should have said the short ones will be in the front of the bus and the tall ones in the back! But I was referring to the total number I have, 48 in this class and several stubbed their toe and did not EARN the chance to go.

Set up this afternoon on a field that had ~500 Sunday but only saw 50 or so whites today. Had 3 ross come in and killed one, my buddy hit another but he didn't fold. Not a big shoot but first blood of the spring the day after my birthday was nice. Also had a great show from the mallards.
