Off Season Has Hit.
Off season has hit and I already have the spread together for next year! Whats everyone else thinking for spreads?
From front to back it goes: 6 Storm Front BWT, 7 Green Head Gear GWT, 3 oversized Green Head Gear pintail, 6 Green Head Gear drake mallards, 1 Feather Fusion Pro Series drake, 5 Green Head Gear oversized hen mallards, 1 Green Head Gear life sized hen mallard, 5 Flambuea life sized pintails, 2 Flambuea life sized mallrd butt up feeders, 1 Flambuea life sized pintail butt up feeder 4 Green Head Gear oversized canada goose floaters (not shown), 9 foamer snow goose decoys (not shown), 1 Mojo Baby mallard (not shown), 1 Mojo Wing Thang (not shown). Friends 3 Green Head Gear hen mallards (very back), 6 Green Head Gear drake mallards (very back), 6 Green Head Gear GWT, 1 Mojo Wing Thang (not shown) Total: 68 decoys= 5 1/2 dozen decoys

I'm repainting/touching up mine right now. Ive got about 50 repainted about 30 touched up, another 50 to repaint and 70 to touch up. I'm hording as many as I can this year just in case I break down and buy a blind boat.

I can't believe you even know how many decoys you have! I have no idea how many I have but its way to many plus 12 robos

I like to keep accurate tabs on my numbers (ratio of hens to drakes) so i know how many i can put out late season if the big waves of ducks roll through. Right now its my first off season for hunting by myself and i have accumulated 94 duck decoys and 13 goose decoys.

Just started the 2nd new shop due to a fire lost 20 dz duck decoys.
My former student who finished taking what was left of the shop down sent me a picture on his phone of the globe of plastic he picked up with his excavator. Just finished repainting the floating snow goose decoys. It is a bad sickness this waterfowl hunting but what a great illness! Dean |
