Yeah I have college classes at UNI for a couple hours during the day. I farm when I'm back home in Vinton but I do hunt alone sometimes since friends I have grown up hunting with have moved to different places for school. I definitely think hunting alone is very peaceful and enjoyable. I went alone on the last day of the early duck season this September and it started out slow so I ended up playing on my cell phone and of course all of a sudden there were ducks everywhere then they were gone just as fast. Only got 1 shot off. But turned out to be a crazy day. Ended up with 3 ducks and 1 flat tire.

Do you do a lot of hunting alone? Being a farmer you can hunt on a tues as easy as a sat. Of course when you're caught up. I love hunting with my buddies my job now isn't a 9 to 5 or mon - fri. But I think I really notice more and much more peacefull. I'm talking duck and goose hunting. If you don't go alone try it a couple times this year. Shoot em in the Lips.
